Lest your pride make matters acute.
Indulging in honey is sweet,
But too much will lead to defeat.

True ones love you high or low.
A righteous judge brings joy and peace,
His decisions will never cease.
A word of comfort, timely and wise,
Is like a cool breeze under hot skies.
Good news from afar is sweet,
A welcome sign to tired feet.
Like a broken tooth or a foot unsteady,
A faithful friend is rare and steady.
A well-timed gift will do you good,
Like a drink of water in the neighborhood.
Clouds and wind, and rain that pours,
So is a braggart’s empty roars.
Don’t overstay your welcome mate,
Lest you become an unwelcome weight.
Keep your cool and don’t get mad,
And all your enemies will be sad.
