Question: Is God dead? (Evangelical Christian)

As an Evangelical Christian, I believe that God is alive and active in the world today. The Bible teaches that God is eternal and unchanging, and that He is the creator and sustainer of all things. Throughout history, God has revealed Himself to humanity through various means, including the natural world, the written word of Scripture, and ultimately through the person of Jesus Christ.

The idea of God being dead may stem from a sense of disillusionment or despair, but as a Christian, I believe that God is very much alive and present in our lives. I find hope and comfort in the knowledge that God is always with me, guiding and sustaining me through life’s challenges. The Bible also assures us that God is a God of love, mercy, and compassion, and that He desires to have a personal relationship with each of us.

In the Christian faith, we believe that God’s presence and power are evident in the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, who continues to transform lives and bring about God’s kingdom on earth. While there may be times of doubt or uncertainty, I hold firmly to the truth that God is not dead, but alive and at work in the world and in the hearts of those who seek Him.
