Title: The 6th Trumpet: The Angels of Judgment

Introduction
Good morning, children! Today we are going to learn about an important event in the Bible called the 6th Trumpet. This is a story about angels and judgment, so let’s get ready to learn and have fun together!

Opening Prayer
Dear God, thank you for this time to learn about your word. Please help us to understand the lesson and apply it to our lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Story Time: The 6th Trumpet Sounds
Once upon a time, in the book of Revelation in the Bible, God’s word tells us about the 6th Trumpet sounding. When the trumpet sounded, angels were released to bring judgment on the earth. These angels were very powerful and their job was to punish people for their sins. They brought all kinds of bad things like war, disease, and scary creatures. But the good news is that even in the midst of all this, God’s people were protected and kept safe by His love.

Discussion
– What do you think it means to be judged by God?
– Why do you think God sent angels to bring judgment?
– How do you think God’s people felt knowing they were safe in God’s hands?

Let’s Remember
God is loving and just. He punishes sin, but He also protects and cares for His people.

Then, show the children the small toy angels and explain that in the story from Revelation, the angels are sent to bring judgment on the earth.

Next, introduce the small plastic or rubber insects, such as grasshoppers or locusts, and explain that in the Bible, these are used to represent a swarm of creatures that bring trouble and destruction.

Finally, show the children a picture or drawing of the scene from Revelation 9:13-21, depicting the angels and the insects bringing judgment on the earth.
