Enigma Riddle: The Mysterious Plague
I am a mystery, a plague that came
To Egypt’s land, a deadly game
The Nile turned to blood, the frogs did swarm
The lice did bite, the hail did storm
The locusts ate, the darkness fell
The firstborn died, a tolling bell
Pharaoh’s heart was hard, he would not yield
Until his own son, death did steal
What am I, this plague so strange?
A warning to Pharaoh, a message to change
A lesson to learn, a story to tell
Of God’s power and might, and the Israelites’ farewell.
Conundrum Riddle: The Parting of the Red Sea
I am a mystery, a wonder to behold
A parting of the sea, a story so old
Moses raised his staff, the waters did split
The Israelites crossed, the Egyptians did quit
But how did it happen, this miraculous feat?
Was it wind or tide, that made the waters retreat?
Or was it God’s hand, that moved the sea aside?
A miracle of faith, that cannot be denied.
So tell me, dear reader, what do you believe?
A natural phenomenon, or a miracle to perceive?
Either way, the Red Sea did part
And the Israelites were saved, with a grateful heart.
Lateral Thinking Riddle: The Manna from Heaven
I am a puzzle, a mystery to solve
The manna from heaven, a story to evolve
Each day it came, this bread from above
A gift from God, to show His love
But how did it happen, this manna so sweet?
Did it fall from the sky, or grow at their feet?
Did the Israelites bake it or stew?
Or did it magically appear, as if on cue?
The answer is simple, if you think outside the box
It was a gift from God, a miracle to unlock
For six days it came, and on the seventh did cease
A reminder to trust, and in God’s provision to feast.
Trick Riddle: The Golden Calf Deception
I am a trickster, a deception to play
The story of the golden calf, a lesson to sway
The Israelites grew restless, Moses was gone
They demanded a god, to worship upon
So Aaron took their gold, and fashioned a calf
And the people danced, and had a good laugh
But when Moses returned, he was filled with rage
For the people had sinned, and turned from God’s page
So tell me, dear reader, what is the trick?
The calf was just metal, not a god to pick
The people were fooled, by their own desire
And they paid the price, with God’s righteous fire.
