Author: Of course! Psalm 139:13-14 reads, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” This passage is a reflection on the profound truth that God knows us intimately and has been intricately involved in our creation from the very beginning.

As for how I came to write this psalm, it was a product of my own personal reflection and prayer. The process of pondering over my own identity and how I fit into God’s plan for the world led me to contemplate the deep love and care that God has for all of his children.

Interviewer: What message were you hoping to convey to your readers with this psalm?

Author: Ultimately, I wanted to convey the fundamental truth that every human being is valued and loved by God. In a world that often seeks to define people by their outward appearance or accomplishments, it can be easy to lose sight of the fact that our true worth is rooted in our relationship with our Creator. I hoped that this psalm would serve as a reminder to readers that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that they have a unique role to play in God’s plan.

Interviewer: How has this passage impacted you personally?

Author: Oh, it has had a tremendous impact on me. As I wrote this psalm, I came to a deeper understanding of God’s love for me as an individual. I realized that every part of me – my strengths and weaknesses, my personality, my quirks – were intentionally crafted by God. This realization has given me a sense of purpose and confidence that I never had before.
