Author: Throughout my writings, I often emphasized the need for reliance on God, especially during challenging times. In this verse, inspired by the divine revelations I received, I wanted to remind the people of Israel of the enduring nature of God’s faithfulness and the security found in trusting in Him wholly. Amidst the unpredictable and uncertain circumstances that surrounded the ancient Israelites, I sought to strengthen their faith by reminding them of God’s eternal nature, which offers a sense of stability and protection.

Author: Certainly. The choice to describe the Lord as a Rock is intentional. Just like a physical rock, God is unchanging, immovable, and unshakable.
