information about the author of Deuteronomy 18:15

From an evangelical Christian perspective, the most likely author of Deuteronomy 18:15 is Moses. Evangelical Christians believe that Moses, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, wrote the book of Deuteronomy as a continuation of the Mosaic Law and as a reminder to the people of Israel of God’s faithfulness and commands.

According to evangelical Christian belief, Moses was chosen by God to lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt and to receive the Ten Commandments and other laws on Mount Sinai. As such, he is considered the author of the first five books of the Bible, known as the Pentateuch, including Deuteronomy.

Deuteronomy 18:15 contains a prophecy in which God promises to raise up a prophet like Moses from among the Israelites, and evangelical Christians see this as a reference to the coming of Jesus Christ. They believe that Jesus fulfills this prophecy as the ultimate prophet, teacher, and savior, and they see this verse as pointing to Jesus as the fulfillment of God’s promises to his people.

Overall, evangelical Christians view Moses as a key figure in the history of Israel and as a faithful servant of God who was chosen to deliver and record God’s laws for the benefit of future generations.
