The Value of Wisdom
Proverbs 3:13 — Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding;
Proverbs 4:7 — Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.
Ecclesiastes 7:12 — For wisdom is a defense as money is a defense, But the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it.

James 1:5 — If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
Proverbs 2:6 — For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;

The Practice of Wisdom
Proverbs 1:7 — The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Ecclesiastes 2:26 — For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives travail, to gather and to heap, that he may give to him who is good before God. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.
Proverbs 16:16 — How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

Proverbs 15:2 — The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, But the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.
Ecclesiastes 10:12 — The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious, But the lips of a fool shall swallow him up;
James 3:17 — But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
