In 2 Corinthians 2, Paul speaks about the pain he felt in not being able to visit the Corinthian church and how he had to write a letter instead. He explains that his intention wasn’t to cause them grief but to bring them to repentance and forgiveness. He urges them to forgive and comfort a fellow believer who has been disciplined, just as he forgives and comforts them. Paul also talks about how he spreads the aroma of Christ everywhere he goes, and how his message is a fragrance that brings life to those who accept it and death to those who reject it.
Verse: "For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing." – 2 Corinthians 2:15 ποΈ
