Abraham: Hmm, I have to admit that I have lost my patience many times while waiting for things to happen. So, I’ll take a drink.
Mary: Your turn, Abraham. Never have I ever doubted that waiting patiently was the right thing to do.
Abraham: I have to say, I have doubted the necessity of waiting patiently at times in my life. It’s a tough thing to do when you’re a nomad constantly on the move.
Mary: Alright, my turn again. Never have I ever felt like giving up while waiting for something to happen.
Abraham: I definitely have felt like giving up while waiting for things to happen, especially on the long journeys across the desert. I’ll take another drink.
Mary: It’s clear that waiting patiently is not an easy thing to do for either of us.
Abraham: Indeed, Mary. It takes a great deal of strength and faith to endure the waiting. But in the end, it always seems to be worth it.
