This is a fictional Bible reading. The Avengers did not actually make this Bible reading.

The Avengers, Earth’s mightiest heroes, gathered in their headquarters to hear about a story that had been passed down through generations. Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, pulled up a holographic map of the eastern Mediterranean on a screen, and started telling the story of the Bible book of Acts, as if the Avengers had been present during the events.

The team was introduced to the key players in the story, starting with Jesus, who had just ascended to heaven, and then to his apostles, who were receiving the Holy Spirit in their hearts. The team watched how the apostles healed the sick and did great miracles. They also saw how Saul, a persecutor of Christians, was struck by a vision of Jesus and became a believer himself, before going on to become the apostle Paul.

The Avengers listened intently as Tony went on to describe how the apostles and Paul went on to become missionaries, traveling to different parts of the world to spread the gospel. The team watched how they faced persecution, being stoned and imprisoned, yet how they didn’t lose their faith in God. They learned how they gained converts despite the adversity, and how they built churches and communities of believers.

As Tony was about to conclude his story, Thor, the God of Thunder, could not help but ask, “So, what happened to the Holy Spirit at the end?” Tony chuckled and replied, “You mean the Holy Ghost? It’s still around, mate! It’s been passed down through generations and is still at work in people’s hearts.” The team laughed heartily.

Captain America stood up and said, “Well, it seems to me that this story is all about perseverance, no matter what odds we face. We must believe in ourselves and what we stand for; then we will overcome all problems.” The team cheered and raised their glasses, toasting to the spirit of perseverance.

As Iron Man was about to close the story, Hulk interrupted and said, “Okay, I get it. But can we smash some bad guys now?” The whole team laughed, and Iron Man quipped, “Hold your horses, Hulk. We still have to read the next part of the story, the book of Genesis.” The team groaned, and Hulk grumbled, “I hope there’s smashing in that one too.”
