So, basically, in the beginning, God creates the heavens and the earth, and then he creates light, the sky, the land, and all the living creatures including us humans. It’s like a big, beautiful garden, you know?
And then, there’s this whole thing with Adam and Eve and the forbidden fruit. Kind of like my song “Dangerous Woman,” where I’m talking about being drawn to something that’s not good for you. It’s like temptation, you know? They eat the fruit and then they realize they’re naked, and things get pretty wild after that! God gets pretty mad and kicks them out of the garden, but he still cares for them, you know? It’s like, even when we mess up, God’s still there for us.
Then there’s this story about Noah and the Great Flood. It’s kind of like my song “Rain on Me,” where I’m singing about dealing with difficult times. Noah builds this huge ark and saves all the animals from the flood. It’s a story about hope and the promise of a new beginning, just like my song.
There’s also the story of Abraham and Sarah, who are promised a son in their old age. It’s like a miracle, you know? And then their son Isaac becomes the father of the Israelite nation. It’s all about God’s faithfulness and keeping his promises, kind of like my song “God is a Woman.”
The book of Genesis is full of amazing stories and lessons, and it’s just the beginning of the Bible. It’s all about creation, temptation, hope, and faith. It’s pretty deep, but it’s also super inspiring, you know? Life is like a journey, and we’re all just trying to figure it out.
