This is a fictional Bible reading. Scooby Doo did not actually make this Bible reading.

Ruh-roh, Raggy! This is the story of the book of Mark, as seen through the eyes of yours truly, the one and only Scooby Doo.

First, let me tell you about this guy named John the Baptist. He’s a bit of a wild man, dressed in camel’s hair and eating locusts and honey. But he knows what he’s talking about when he says that someone greater than him is coming, that someone who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.

That someone turns out to be Jesus, who gets baptized by John and then goes off to the wilderness to be tempted by Satan. But Jesus isn’t one to back down from a challenge, and he comes out even stronger than before.

Now, Jesus starts performing all sorts of miracles. He heals the sick, casts out demons, and even raises the dead. But not everyone is happy about this. The religious leaders start to get pretty annoyed with Jesus and his teachings.

One of Jesus’ disciples, Judas, betrays him to the religious leaders, and Jesus is arrested and put on trial. It’s a pretty intense scene, with the crowd shouting for Jesus to be crucified and Pilate trying to figure out what to do.

But in the end, Jesus is crucified, dies, and is buried. It seems like things are pretty bleak for Jesus and his followers.

But then, on the third day, Jesus rises from the dead! It’s a miracle, and everyone is overjoyed. Jesus spends some time with his disciples before ascending into heaven, promising to come back again someday.

And that’s the story of the book of Mark, according to yours truly, Scooby Doo. As I always say, “Scooby Dooby Doo, where are you? We’ve got some work to do now!”
