  5. Once you are satisfied with the layout, attach the smaller squares to the base fabric using thread and needle or hot glue gun.
  6. Cut lengths of ribbon or twine to serve as ties for the quilt.
  7. Attach the ties to each corner of the quilt, knotting them securely.
  8. Hang the quilt in a prominent place, as a reminder of the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation.
