Seven Trumpets – a Revelation 11 Craft
Materials:
- 7 Paper or plastic cups
- Paint (Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white)
- Paintbrushes
- Stickers or markers (optional)
- Scissors
- Glue or tape
- Cardboard or paper plate
Instructions:
- Paint each cup a different color representing each trumpet: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and white.
- Let the paint dry completely.
- Using stickers or markers, write the number of each trumpet on its corresponding cup.
- Cut out a circle from the cardboard or paper plate to use as a base.
- Arrange the cups on the base in the order they are mentioned in Revelation 11.
- Using glue or tape, secure the cups to the base.
- Optional: decorate the base with additional stickers or drawings related to the story in Revelation 11.
Activity:
Read Revelation 11 together as a family or group while looking at the craft. Discuss the significance of each trumpet and what it represents. Encourage children to ask questions and share their thoughts. This activity can be a great way to introduce children to the book of Revelation and spark their curiosity about biblical stories.
