Radiant Living – a 1 Peter 4 Craft
Materials:
- Small mirrors
- Glue
- Permanent markers
- Glitter
Instructions:
- Take a small mirror and clean it thoroughly.
- Using permanent markers, write the following verses from 1 Peter 4 on it:
- "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." (1 Peter 4:8)
- "Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling." (1 Peter 4:9)
- "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." (1 Peter 4:10)
- "If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen." (1 Peter 4:11)
- Once you have written the verses, add a little glitter to make it look more radiant.
- Finally, glue a magnet to the back of the mirror and place it somewhere where it can remind you to live radiantly as a follower of Christ.
This craft serves as a reminder that as believers, we are called to love one another deeply, offer hospitality, use our gifts to serve others, and speak and serve in a way that brings glory to God. May our lives reflect the radiance of Christ to everyone we encounter.
