Joyful Threads – a Philippians 4 Craft
Supplies Needed:
- Embroidery hoop
- Embroidery floss in various colors
- Embroidery needle
- Fabric (can be any color or pattern)
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Philippians 4:4-8 printed or written out
Instructions:
- Cut out a piece of fabric that will fit into the embroidery hoop.
- Trace out the words from Philippians 4:4-8 onto the fabric with a pencil.
- Thread the embroidery needle with a color of your choice and start embroidering the words onto the fabric. You can use different colors for each word or phrase to make it more colorful and joyful.
- Once you have finished embroidering the words, you can add some decorative elements around them such as flowers or vines.
- When you are finished, place the fabric back into the embroidery hoop, pull the fabric taut and tighten the hoop.
- Cut off any excess fabric around the hoop and hang the embroidered piece somewhere where you will see it often.
