Divine Encounters – a Colossians 4 Craft
Materials Needed:
- Construction paper (various colors)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Markers or crayons
- Colossians 4:2-6 printed on paper or written out
Instructions:
- Cut out a large circle from one piece of construction paper to represent the world.
- Cut out smaller circles from various colors of construction paper to represent people from all over the world.
- Glue the people circles onto the world circle.
- Write or print out Colossians 4:2-6 and cut each verse into strips.
- Glue each verse strip onto a toothpick or wooden skewer.
- Stick the verse skewers into the world circle to represent how we can have divine encounters with people all over the world through prayer and sharing the gospel.
Colossians 4:2-6:
"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone."
