Author: Sure, one of the most significant verses I wrote is Romans 14:11, which says, “For it is written, ‘As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.’”

Interviewer: What inspired you to write this verse?

Author: In this section of my letter to the Romans, I was addressing the issue of Christians judging one another over disputable matters, such as certain foods, sacred days, and personal convictions. I encouraged them to refrain from passing judgment on one another, but instead to honor their differences and respect their individual decisions before God.

Interviewer: How does this verse connect with that message?

Author: This verse underscores the sovereignty and universality of God’s authority. I wanted to remind my readers that ultimately, every person will have to give an account to God and acknowledge his lordship. No one can escape this reality, regardless of their cultural or religious background, or their personal preferences or opinions. Therefore, we need to cultivate a humble and respectful attitude towards one another and towards God, as we learn to live in harmony and love within the body of Christ.
