Author of Psalm 116: Certainly. “I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.” These verses were born out of a deeply personal encounter with God’s mercy and responsiveness to my pleas. I experienced a profound sense of the Lord’s love and overwhelming gratitude for His attentiveness, which stirred within me an indescribable love for Him.

Author of Psalm 116: Of course. The act of calling upon the Lord involves both an acknowledgment of His sovereignty and an active pursuit of His presence. Considering how He has heard and answered my prayers, I have resolved to continually seek His counsel, guidance, and comfort throughout my life’s journey. Calling on the Lord represents an ongoing and unbroken connection with Him, fostering a relationship grounded in trust, love, and reliance.

Author of Psalm 116: Yes, indeed. Like any individual, I encountered various trials and tribulations which led me to cry out for God’s mercy. He extended His grace and delivered me from desperate situations, listening intently to my pleas for help. These experiences of deliverance became the bedrock for my unyielding love and devotion for the Lord.
