Author: Hi, my name is Matthew. I am a former tax collector turned disciple of Jesus Christ. I also happen to be one of the authors of the Gospels found in the New Testament.

Interviewer: It’s great to have you here with us tonight, Matthew. Can you tell us about a particular passage from the Bible that has impacted your life?

Author: Absolutely. One passage that has always stood out to me is Matthew 16:25. In fact, it’s one of my favorite verses.

Interviewer: Can you share it with us and explain why it’s so meaningful to you?

Author: Sure, Matthew 16:25 reads, “For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.” This verse is so powerful because it highlights the idea that true life and fulfillment can only come through a complete surrender to God and His will. It’s a reminder that seeking our own desires and striving for our own success will only lead to emptiness and disappointment. But when we give our lives to God and follow Him wholeheartedly, we experience a depth of joy and purpose that we never could have found on our own.

Author: Just that I hope this verse can serve as an encouragement to anyone who may be feeling lost or unfulfilled in their life.
