Author: Hello, my name is James. I am a servant of God, and I wrote a letter to the believers scattered throughout the world.

Interviewer: Your letter includes a passage in James 3:17-18. Can you share with us what that passage means to you?

Author: Certainly. This passage speaks about the wisdom that comes from God. It starts by saying that true wisdom is pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. These are all qualities that reflect the character of God, and as His followers, we should strive to embody them.

Interviewer: That’s a powerful message. Can you tell us more about it?

Author: Of course. In the second part of the passage, I talk about the fruits of righteousness that come from living a wise and godly life. When we sow in peace, we will reap a harvest of righteousness. This means that when we choose to live according to God’s wisdom, it will lead to good things in our lives and in the lives of those around us.

Interviewer: It sounds like living a wise life is very important to you.

Author: Yes, it is. In fact, throughout my letter, I emphasize the importance of putting our faith into action. It’s not enough to just believe in God – we must also live according to His will and show His love to others.
