Interviewer: Thank you for joining us today, Isaiah. Can you share with us a passage from your book that has been impactful to many readers?

Isaiah: Of course. One of the verses that comes to mind is Isaiah 43:16, 18-19. “This is what the Lord says—he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters…Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

Interviewer: What inspired you to write these particular verses?

Isaiah: Well, at the time, the people of Israel were going through a challenging period. I wanted to remind them of God’s faithfulness in the past and encourage them to have hope for the future. The imagery of making a way through the sea and the promise of God doing a new thing resonated with the Israelites and has continued to inspire countless others throughout history.

Interviewer: How do you hope these verses will impact readers today?

Isaiah: My hope is that these verses will remind people that God is always at work, even in the midst of difficult circumstances. It’s a message of hope and renewal, encouraging readers to look forward to what God is doing and to trust in His faithfulness.
