Interviewer: Can you please share with us a verse from your book that has really impacted you?

Author: Absolutely. In 1 John 5:14-15, I wrote, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us–whatever we ask–we know that we have what we asked of him.”

Interviewer: That is a powerful verse. How has it impacted your life?

Author: Well, it has reminded me that when we pray, we can approach God with confidence. We don’t have to come to him with fear or hesitation, because we know that he hears us. And if our prayers align with his will, we can be sure that he will answer them. It has given me a sense of peace and security in my relationship with God.

Interviewer: Is there any particular experience or situation that this verse has helped you through?

Author: Yes, actually. During a time when I was going through a difficult trial, this verse gave me the confidence to pray boldly and ask God for the strength and wisdom I needed. And as I prayed, I felt a sense of peace knowing that God was hearing me and that he would provide what I needed.

Author: Just that I hope this verse will encourage others to approach God with boldness and confidence in their prayers. He is always listening and always willing to give us what we need.
