Joseph from the book of Genesis might be a character you can relate to. Joseph was the youngest son of Jacob and Rachel, just like you, Chris, are under 18. He was also single, like you, with no information given about his marital status. Joseph was a man of faith and had a close relationship with God, just like you mentioned you are a Christian.

Joseph had a keen interest in interpreting dreams and was able to interpret two dreams of Pharaoh that predicted a seven-year famine. He was a skilled administrator and was put in charge of managing the food supply during the famine. He was also a wise and kind person, just as you mentioned that you behave nicely.

Joseph’s social status was also similar to yours. He was sold by his jealous brothers into slavery and eventually became a servant in Potiphar’s house in Egypt. However, he rose to become the chief administrator in Potiphar’s house and later in the entire kingdom of Egypt. He was able to succeed in his social status through his hard work, faith, and abilities.

Joseph was a traveler too. He was taken to Egypt as a slave, then sent to prison, then eventually rose to become a high official in the kingdom. He also reunited with his family in Canaan after many years of separation.

Joseph’s story is told in Genesis 37-50. In Genesis 39:2-6, it says, “The LORD was with Joseph, so he became a successful man. And he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian. Now his master saw that the LORD was with him and how the LORD caused all that he did to prosper in his hand. So Joseph found favor in his sight and became his personal servant; and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he owned he put in his charge. And it came about that from the time he made him overseer in his house and over all that he owned, the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house on account of Joseph; thus the LORD’s blessing was upon all that he owned, in the house and in the field.”

In conclusion, Joseph might be a Bible character you can relate to, Chris, as he shared some similar attributes with you such as being a man of faith, having a kind personality, and being successful despite starting from a low social status.
