Sharing some Rest with Lou using the Bible.

Dear Lou,

In the gentle whispers of every day, remember that you’re a beautiful creation of God, uniquely made with a purpose. Just like in Jeremiah 29:11, He has plans for you, plans to give you hope and a future. Life might sometimes feel overwhelming, but take heart! You are never alone.

When worries cloud your mind, find peace in Psalm 46:10, where we are reminded to “be still, and know that I am God.” In those quiet moments, let your thoughts drift to all the blessings around you—the sunny days, the laughter of friends, the love of family. These are God’s gifts, reminding you of His presence.

Allow your heart to be filled with joy and courage, knowing that you are cherished. Just as Timothy was reminded to “fan into flame the gift of God” (2 Timothy 1:6), nurture your dreams and passions. It’s okay to rest and take a pause; even God rested on the seventh day, teaching us the importance of renewal.

Embrace each challenge with faith, for you are stronger than you know. Remember, the light within you can brighten the world. Shine brightly, Lou!

With love and encouragement,
From God’s Heart to Yours
Someone Who Cares

Lou

Linger in peace, dear heart, let worries cease,
Open your soul, find joy in His grace,
Unfold your dreams, for in Him, there’s solace.

Here are some encouraging Bible verses about rest that can really resonate with you, Lou:

1. **Matthew 11:28-30** – Jesus invites everyone who is tired to come to Him. He promises to give rest for our souls. Remember, it’s okay to take a break and find peace in Him.

2. **Psalm 23:1-3** – This beautiful Psalm tells us that God is our Shepherd. He leads us to green pastures and still waters, which symbolizes rest and peace. Imagine lying down in a serene field surrounded by nature, and know that God wants to refresh your spirit.

3. **Isaiah 40:31** – It says that those who hope in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar like eagles and run without getting tired. When you feel exhausted, look to God for that extra energy and rest that you need.

4. **Exodus 33:14** – God told Moses, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” It’s a reminder that God is always with us. When life gets overwhelming, invite Him in, and He’ll help you find that calm you’re looking for.

5. **Mark 6:31** – Here, Jesus tells His disciples to come away with Him to a quiet place and rest. Sometimes, it’s important to escape the busyness and just chill out in a peaceful spot, talking to God and recharging.

Embrace these verses, Lou. They speak to how important it is to find rest, not just physically but also emotionally and spiritually.
