Sharing some Rest with Disney using the Bible.

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Dear Disney,

I hope this note finds you well. In the midst of all the busyness and pressures of being a teenager, may you find rest and solace in the words of the Bible. Just like you, many of the people in the Bible faced different challenges and difficulties, but they found strength and hope in God’s promises.

Remember that in Psalm 46:10, God says, “Be still and know that I am God.” Take a moment to pause and reflect on how God has been working in your life. You can also draw inspiration from verses such as Philippians 4:13, which tells us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, and Jeremiah 29:11, where God assures us that He has plans to prosper us and not to harm us.

You are loved and valued, Disney. Know that someone cares deeply about your well-being and is rooting for you. May this note be a reminder that you can always turn to God’s Word for guidance, comfort, and peace.

From God’s Heart to Yours,

Someone Who Cares.

Disney

Dear Disney, hear me now
I offer rest, a peaceful bow
Surrender all, cast off the weight
Now’s the time, don’t hesitate
Embrace the love that’s always nigh
You’ll find true rest, no need to try.

1. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28

Hey Disney, life can get tough and overwhelming. But remember, God is always there to lift you up and give you peace.

2. “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.” – Psalm 23:1-3

Take a deep breath and remember that God is always guiding you towards peace and rest.

3. “So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.” – Genesis 2:3

God Himself took time to rest and recharge. It’s important to do the same and take a break from the chaos of life.

4. “Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.” – Hebrews 4:11

Rest is not just a suggestion, it’s a necessary aspect of our well-being. Make sure to take care of yourself and enter a state of rest when you need it.

5. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” – Ephesians 2:8

Remember that you don’t have to do everything on your own. Give your burdens to God and let Him grant you the rest that you need.
