Sharing some Mercy with Bryan using the Bible.

Dear Bryan,

I hope this note finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to remind you of the power of the Bible in providing guidance and inspiration. In Proverbs 3:5-6, it says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” When we turn to the word of God, we can find comfort and direction in even the most difficult circumstances.

I understand that life can be challenging, especially during these teenage years. In times of doubt or confusion, try reading Psalms for comfort, or Matthew for guidance. Remember that all things are possible through Christ, as Philippians 4:13 states, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

I am sending this note from God’s heart to yours, as a reminder that you are never alone. May you find peace and comfort in the words of the Bible, and may you always know that there is someone who cares for you.

Sincerely,

Someone Who Cares.

Bryan

Blessed be Bryan, beloved of God,
rejoice for redemption is at hand.
Yearn for mercy and you shall receive,
accepting forgiveness, you shall believe.
Nurtured by grace, may you prosper and stand.

1. “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.” – Matthew 5:7

As a teenager, it can be easy to get caught up in cliques and drama. However, it is important to remember the power of showing mercy to others, even in the toughest of situations. By choosing to be kind and forgiving, we are setting an example of Christ’s love and can receive mercy in return.

2. “The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.” – Psalm 145:8

No matter what struggles or trials we may face as teenagers, God’s mercy is always available to us. He is patient with our mistakes and faithful in His love for us. By relying on Him in difficult times, we can experience the depth of His mercy and feel His comforting presence in our lives.

3. “For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.” – Hosea 6:6

It can be easy to get caught up in following religious traditions or rules, but God cares most about the condition of our hearts. Showing mercy and love to others, even when it is difficult, reflects a knowledge of God’s character and an obedience to His commandments. Let us not forget that mercy and love are the foundation of our faith.

4. “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8

As a teenager, it can be easy to feel lost or unsteady in our faith. However, we can always cling to the truth that God’s mercy is greater than any mistake we may make. Even when we were at our worst, Christ chose to die for us out of His boundless love and mercy. Let us remember this and strive to show that same love and mercy to others.
