Sharing some Forgiveness with John using the Bible.

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Dear John,

I hope this note finds you in good health and high spirits. Firstly, I want to express my sincerest apologies for any offense caused when I used the Bible for inspiration to write my note of forgiveness to you. It was certainly not my intention to come across as preachy or pushy in any way.

As a believer in Jesus Christ, I find immense comfort and wisdom from the Holy Book. However, I also recognize that not everyone shares my faith, and that is perfectly alright. Therefore, please accept my heartfelt apologies for any discomfort I may have caused through my words.

I understand that you may not have appreciated the “From God’s Heart to Yours” signature in my note. I can only assure you that it was not meant to come across as condescending or superior in any way. Instead, I wanted to convey that this message of forgiveness came from a place of deep love and empathy.

I sincerely hope that you find it in your heart to forgive me for any misunderstandings that may have arisen. Please know that I genuinely care about you, and I only want the best for you. You are a wonderful teenager with so much potential and promise, and I truly believe that great things await you in the future.

Once again, please accept my apologies, and I wish you all the very best in life.

With warm regards,

Someone Who Cares

John

Jehovah forgives all,
Others may judge and scrawl,
He shows mercy with love,
Now it’s time for you, John.

1. “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” – Colossians 3:13

John, I know it can be hard to forgive someone who has hurt you, but God calls us to forgive others just as He has forgiven us.

2. “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” – Matthew 5:44

John, it may seem impossible to love and forgive someone who has wronged you, but remember that we are called to love even our enemies. Pray for them and ask God to give you the strength to forgive.

3. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 John 1:9

John, forgiveness isn’t just about forgiving others, it’s also about asking for forgiveness from God when we sin. Remember that God is always faithful to forgive us when we come to Him with a repentant heart.

4. “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” – Luke 6:37

John, it’s important to remember that when we forgive others, we also open ourselves up to forgiveness from God and others around us. Let go of any judgment or condemnation, and choose forgiveness instead.

5. “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” – Mark 11:25

John, forgiveness is a crucial part of our prayer life. If we are holding onto any grudges or unforgiveness, it can hinder our relationship with God. Choose to forgive and release others so that you can fully embrace God’s forgiveness in your life.
