Sharing some Compassion with Tom using the Bible.

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Dear Tom,

I hope this letter finds you well. I know that you may be going through some challenging times, but I want you to know that you are not alone. The Lord is always watching over you, and He will never leave your side.

I know that the Bible has been a source of comfort and inspiration for you, and I want to encourage you to hold onto the hope that it provides. One of my favorite verses is from Psalm 34:18 which says, “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” This verse reminds us that even when we are feeling down or lost, God is always with us, and He is always willing to lift us up.

I also want to remind you that you are loved, and there are people who care about you. I am one of them. I pray that this note brings you some comfort today and that you know that you are not alone.

From God’s Heart to Yours,

Someone Who Cares.

Tom

Take heart, Tom,
Our Lord is with thee always,
May His love heal your body and soul.

1. “As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.” – Psalm 103:13

Tom, may you feel the comfort and care of our Heavenly Father in all aspects of your life.

2. “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” – Colossians 3:12

Tom, may you always embrace these qualities, knowing that they reflect the heart of Christ.

3. “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2

Tom, know that you are not alone in your struggles. May we, as your Christian family, come alongside you to support and encourage you.

4. “But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.” – Matthew 9:36

Tom, Jesus has a deep compassion for us all. May we follow His example and show compassion to those around us.

5. “Let us love not in word or speech, but in truth and action.” – 1 John 3:18

Tom, may your love be practical and genuine, demonstrated through acts of kindness, thoughtfulness, and compassion.
