**North Pole**
**December 25th**
Dear Leroy,
Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas! It’s Santa Claus writing to you from the North Pole, and I hope this letter finds you filled with the joy and excitement of this wonderful season. You know, being Santa is a pretty magical job! Every day, I’m surrounded by cheerful elves who sing holiday songs while they wrap presents, and it’s always snowing here, which makes for some spectacular snowball fights! Did I mention that I have a reindeer named Blitzen who loves to play hide and seek? It’s true! He thinks he’s so clever hiding behind the big sleigh, but I always find him in no time at all—after all, how can you miss a reindeer with such a bright nose?
Speaking of fun, here’s a little joke for you: Why did Santa go to music school? Because he wanted to improve his “wrap” skills! Get it? Wrap like wrapping gifts, of course! The elves love a good laugh, and we have tons of fun when we’re not busy making toys or checking the Nice List. You wouldn’t believe some of the hilarious things that happen up here!
Now, Leroy, as the holiday season unfolds, I want to take a moment to share something very special with you—the true meaning of Christmas. You see, while the presents and decorations are certainly wonderful, the heart of Christmas goes deeper than that. When we celebrate this special time, we’re remembering the birth of Jesus Christ, who came to this world to spread love, hope, and kindness. The Bible reminds us in Luke 2:10-11, “But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David, a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.’”
Christmas is a time for giving, love, and family, just like the love that Jesus showed us. I encourage you to think about ways you can share that love with others. Whether it’s helping out at home, sharing a meal with someone in need, or simply being a friend to those who might be feeling lonely, you can be a shining star in someone else’s life. The spirit of Christmas is about caring for one another and spreading joy, just as Jesus taught us.
Every year, I am reminded of how important it is to give, not just material things but also our time and our love. It makes my heart so warm to see children like you embracing the season, spreading happiness, and remembering to appreciate the people in your life who truly matter.
So, Leroy, as you enjoy this holiday season, embrace the magic of Christmas. Take time to appreciate your family and friends and look for ways to make their days brighter. And remember, I’ll be checking my list—twice, of course—to see all the good you’re doing!
Merry Christmas – The Savior is Born,
Santa
