A letter to Leroy from Santa with 132 days until Christmas

Dear Leroy,

Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas! It brings me so much joy to write to you from the North Pole, where the snow is sparkling like diamonds, and my elves are busy making toys for all the good boys and girls around the world. I hear you’ve been a wonderful, kind-hearted little boy this year, and I’m very proud of you!

Let me share a little bit about myself, just in case you’ve ever wondered. Did you know that I have a team of magical reindeer? They love to eat carrots and fly high in the sky! My favorite reindeer is Rudolph, with his shiny red nose. He’s quite the leader when it comes to guiding my sleigh on Christmas Eve, especially when the weather gets foggy. People often ask me, “How do you stay so jolly?” Well, I always say, “I taste the cookies left for me!” Yum!

Here’s a joke for you, Leroy: What do you call a cat on the beach during Christmas time? Sandy Claws! Ho, ho, ho! I hope that brought a smile to your face! I love humor just like you do, and it reminds me how important it is to share joy and laughter with those around us.

Now, let’s talk about something very special. Christmas is not just about presents and sweets—though those are fun! The true meaning of Christmas comes from the story of Jesus’ birth in the Bible. You see, Leroy, many years ago, a very special child was born in a humble stable. His name is Jesus, and He came to bring love, hope, and joy to the world. This special day reminds us of the gift of love that God gave us through Jesus.

When you celebrate Christmas, remember that it’s an opportunity to show kindness to others. Just as Jesus gave everything for us, we can spread love and joy to everyone around us. Maybe you can help someone in need, share your toys, or even just give someone a big smile. Those little acts of kindness make the world a much brighter place!

As you enjoy the holidays this year, think about all the blessings you have and how you can be a blessing to others. Christmas is a time to be together with family and friends, to enjoy delicious meals, and to cherish the moments that make our hearts feel warm and full.

I will be flying around the world on Christmas Eve, delivering toys and spreading cheer, and I’ll be thinking about you, Leroy! Keep up the good work, always remember to be kind, and cherish the true spirit of Christmas.

Merry Christmas – The Savior is Born,
Santa

P.S. Here’s a beautiful verse for you to think about: “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.” – Luke 2:11
