A letter to James from The Tooth Fairy

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Dear James,

Greetings from your friendly Tooth Fairy! I have been receiving your letters and I must say, I am glad to get them. They make me smile every time! Did you know that I have been flying around for over 100 years collecting teeth? I love watching children grow and seeing all those little gaps in their smiles fill in with new teeth. It’s the most rewarding part of my job.

Now, let me tell you a little joke about the Tooth Fairy. Why did the Tooth Fairy start a blog? Because she wanted to keep up with all the tooth-aches! I hope that made you chuckle as I do love spreading happiness wherever I go.

As a Tooth Fairy, one of the most important things to me is that children learn how to take care of their teeth. Did you know that the Bible talks about taking care of our bodies, including our teeth? In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 it says, “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies.” So, James, I encourage you to honor God by taking good care of your teeth. Brush them twice a day, floss, and visit your dentist regularly.

Thank you for being such a wonderful child and for always taking care of your teeth. I look forward to our next encounter and any tooth that you might leave for me under your pillow.

Until the Next Tooth,
The Tooth Fairy

P.S. – “My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long.” – Psalm 71:8
