Dear Holly,
Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas, my dear friend! It’s your old pal Santa here, sending you warm tidings of joy and happiness this holiday season. I hope this letter finds you well, and that you’re getting excited for all the magic that’s just around the corner.
As for me, I’m keeping busy up here in the North Pole, preparing for the big day. Between making toys, checking my lists, and tending to my reindeer, it’s a wonder I have time to write this letter. But I couldn’t let Christmas go by without saying hello to one of my favorite people in the world.
Speaking of favorites, did you know that Santa has a bit of a sweet tooth? I can never resist a good plate of cookies and milk, especially if they come with a note from one of my beloved believers. But don’t tell Mrs. Claus – she thinks I should stick to my veggies!
I’ve also been known to belt out a tune or two when I’m feeling jolly. My favorites include “Jingle Bells” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” but I’m always open to new suggestions. Do you have a favorite Christmas song, Holly?
But enough about me. The real reason for the season, as you well know, is the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. While I love bringing joy and cheer to children all around the world, I know that the true meaning of Christmas is found in the Bible.
In Luke 2:11, it says, “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” That Savior is the reason we celebrate, Holly – His birth brought hope and light to a dark world, and His sacrifice on the cross brought us salvation.
As we gather with friends and family this Christmas, let’s remember the incredible gift we’ve been given through Jesus. Let’s cherish one another, love our neighbors, and spread joy and peace wherever we go. And let’s join together in worshiping the One who made it all possible.
Merry Christmas, Holly – the Savior is born!
P.S. “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” – Luke 2:14
