Dear Deb,
Merry Christmas! I hope this letter finds you full of joy and excitement as we approach the most wonderful time of the year. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share some fun stuff about me with you. My name is Santa Claus, and I have the privilege of spreading joy and cheer to children all around the world on Christmas Eve. You know, I’ve been delivering presents for many, many years, but I still love the feeling of magic and anticipation that Christmas brings.
Now, let me tell you a fun fact about Santa Claus – did you know that my favorite color is red? That’s right, I wear my bright red suit and hat because it brings happiness to all who see me. And here’s a little joke for you: Why did Santa go to music school? Because he wanted to improve his “wrap” skills!
Deb, while it’s delightful to talk about all the fun aspects of Christmas, it’s also important to remember the true meaning of this special holiday. Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, God’s greatest gift to humanity. In the Bible, the birth of Jesus is a story of hope, love, and the incredible sacrifice that God made for us. Through his birth, Jesus showed us the way to everlasting life and taught us to love one another.
As we exchange gifts and share joy with our loved ones, let’s remember the true purpose of Christmas. It’s a time to be thankful for the love and blessings that surround us, and to show kindness and compassion to those in need, just as Jesus taught us. So, while you eagerly anticipate the presents under the tree, also remember the joy that comes from giving to others.
Merry Christmas, Deb – The Savior is Born!
P.S. I’d like to leave you with a special Bible verse to contemplate during this holiday season. In John 3:16, it says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” Let this verse remind us of the incredible love God has for us and the true reason we celebrate Christmas.
With warm wishes,
Santa
