A letter to Charlie from Santa with 257 days until Christmas

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Dear Charlie,

Ho ho ho! It’s your jolly friend Santa here! I hope this letter finds you well and filled with Christmas cheer! As for myself, I’ve been keeping busy up at the North Pole getting all the toys ready for Christmas Eve! Did you know that I have a pet reindeer named Rudolph? He’s always a bit of a troublemaker but he makes up for it with his bright red nose that guides my sleigh!

Now, I’ve got a little secret for you… are you ready? Ok, here it goes: Santa is a bit of a foodie! That’s right, when I’m not making toys or checking my naughty and nice list, I love to indulge in some delicious treats! My favorite is a big glass of warm milk and some freshly baked cookies – there’s just something about that combo that gets me in the Christmas spirit! But don’t worry, I make sure to work it off with some good old-fashioned exercise so that I’m ready to fly my sleigh on Christmas Eve!

Speaking of Christmas, I’d like to talk to you about the true meaning of this wonderful holiday. You see, Charlie, as much fun as it is to receive presents and sing carols, the real reason for this season is the birth of Jesus Christ. It’s important to remember that Christmas is about celebrating the love and sacrifice that Jesus made for us. The Bible tells us in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” That’s the ultimate gift, Charlie – the gift of eternal life, made possible through Jesus’ birth, death, and resurrection. So as you celebrate, remember to give thanks for Jesus and his love for us.

Now, I’ve got a little joke for you. What do you get when you cross Santa with a duck?…. A Christmas Quacker! (I know, I know, it’s a bit cheesy but it never fails to make me laugh!)

Well Charlie, I hope this letter has brought a smile to your face and reminded you of the true meaning of Christmas. I can’t wait to visit you on Christmas Eve and deliver some presents! Until then, keep spreading joy and love wherever you go.

Merry Christmas – The Savior is Born,

Santa

P.S. “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9:6
