A letter to Beverly from The Leprechaun with 348 days until St. Patrick’s Day

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Dear Beverly,

Top of the morning to you, lass! This is your favorite mythical creature, the Leprechaun, coming all the way from Ireland to greet you a happy St. Patrick’s Day! I hope this letter finds you well and in good spirits. Speaking of good spirits, did you know that I am the one who guards the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? It has been my job for centuries, and I promise I won’t let anybody steal them, except for you because I like you.

Now, enough about me. St. Patrick’s Day is one of the significant celebrations that is close to my heart. Not only do we celebrate it with green parades, abundant food, and beverages, but it is also a day to remember Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. The true value of this day is not just about partying, but it’s also about faith, hope, and luck. Saint Patrick’s unwavering faith in God was his shield during his time of captivity. His faith also aided him to spread Christianity to the Irish, turning Ireland into a Christian country.

In the Bible, faith, hope, and luck are mentioned, and they are essential virtues that we should cultivate. In Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” This Bible verse reminds us that faith is the foundation of our hope. Without faith, we can never hope to achieve what God has planned for us.

Finally, I hope you have a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Remember to keep the faith and hope alive, and you’ll never know, luck might just come your way. Keep loving God, Beverly, and I’ll keep shooting arrows to protect your blessings.

Happy St. Patrick’s day!

I’ll keep shooting arrows – You keep loving God, The Leprechaun

P.S. “May the luck of the Irish guide your way.” – Deuteronomy 31:6
