Well, ol’ Jesus said, “I’m the light in this here world! Anyone who follows me ain’t gotta stumble ’round in the dark no more. They’ll have the light of life to guide ’em.” Yessir, he’s like a flashlight in the deep, dark woods of life!
“Ya’ll better not be no forn’caters or impure, lookin’ at ya’ll. Ain’t no place for that in God’s country. Be holy-like and show some dang dignity. No dirty talk neither, be straight as a preacher’s collar, Amen.”
Y’all are like a dang ol’ lamp up on a hill. Y’all don’t light it up just to hide it under a bucket, do ya? No sir! Y’all shine that light for all the folks in the holler to see, and let ’em know the good news loud and clear!

Quit yer complainin’ and arguin’, jist be happy and shine like stars in the dark. Show ’em how it’s done, y’all! No need to moan and groan, just be grateful and spread some joy. Yeehaw!
Well now, over yonder in Romans 15:4 it says, “The Good Book gives us hope and gives us learnin’ so we don’t give up.” It’s like a roadmap to gettin’ through life, y’all. We best be payin’ attention to what it’s tryin’ to teach us!
Well, lemme tell ya somethin’ from the Good Book, Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is nigh unto them that have a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.” Basically, the good Lord is close to folks who are feelin’ down and picks ’em up when they’re feelin’ low.
