Well, y’all see, when Jesus was gettin’ dunked in that there water by John the Baptist, the heavens done opened up and the Holy Spirit came down like a dove. And then a voice from the sky boomed sayin’, “You’re my Son, and I’m mighty pleased with ya!”
Well, if’n they’s a-gittin’ atcha to do bad thangs, sayin’ it’s fun an’ all, don’tcha be a-fallin’ fer it! Stay away, y’hear? Don’t go an’ be a-joinin’ in with them, ’cause that ain’t gonna do ya no good, no sirree!
