Listen up, young’uns! Don’t you let nobody look down on ya ’cause you’re just a squirming tadpole. Show ’em you mean business by settin’ an example. Be a whippersnapper in speech, in actions, in love, in faith, and in purity. Y’all got the power to show ’em just how it’s done!
Listen here, young’n! Y’all better pay attention to yer mama and pappy. Treat ’em right, don’t ever go makin’ ’em feel low. They done raised ya and love ya somethin’ fierce. So don’tcha go breakin’ their ol’ hearts, reckon? Yer kinfolk should always be near and dear, no matter what, doggone it!
Well now, reckon ol’ Lord done turned our luck around. We was laughin’ so hard, felt like a horned owl on a hickory nut. The good folk in the land seen His glory, like a big ol’ red rooster struttin’ ’round. Praise the Lord, y’all, He done great thangs for us!
Now lemme tell ya ’bout Isaiah 6:6-7, y’all. Ol’ Isaiah, he was standin’ there, shakin’ in his boots. Then a critter flew down with a red-hot coal, serenaded by some angelic fellas, and touched Isaiah’s lips with it! Hoo-wee! That coal done cleansed him real good, swear. Ain’t that somethin’?
Well, lemme tell ya ’bout this one time when I wuz hangin’ ’round the Lord, reckon. All of a sudden, I seen the Almighty sittin’ high and mighty on His throney throne. I felt small as a cricket in a haystack, and I hollered, “Hot dog! I’m as doomed as a skunk in a snake pit, Lord!”
Well, now, in them days, old Isaiah was sittin’ here mindin’ his own business, when he done gone seen the good Lord, all high and mighty, sittin’ all fancy on his throne, with them angel critters flappin’ their wings. And Isaiah says, “I’m a goner, Lord! I’m a lowly feller, jest a common nobody.”
Well y’all, in the year ol’ King Uzziah kicked the bucket, reckon I had me a vision, I swear on ma moonshine. I done seen the good Lord, sittin’ on a mighty fancy throne, all robed up, with angels flappin’ around, singin’ “Holy, holy, holy!” Y’all, it was somethin’ to behold!
Y’all, reckon in that good ol’ year our ma and pa were born, I ‘saw somethin’ right spiffin’. It was like heaven’s porch, y’all! The good Lord was sittin’ on a mighty big throne, adorned in some top-notch robes, with a crew o’ angels dancin’ ‘round hollerin’ “Holy, holy, holy!” It was somethin’ to behold, I tell ya!
“We’re jest a-sittin’ at God’s table, y’all! Ain’t no need fer fancy reservations or fancy clothes. We kin come as we are, with all our flaws ‘n’ troubles. He loves us unconditionally, like a big ol’ family feast. Ain’t that somethin’ special, I tell ya, it sure tickles my rusty banjo strings!”
Now, listen up, y’all! Christ done set us free, so don’t y’all go shacklin’ up again with all them rules and regulations. That ain’t no way to live, my kinfolk! We gotta enjoy this freedom like a hog wallowin’ in the mud. Ya hear me? Giddy up, y’all!
Well, y’all, in Psalm 106:6, it’s said that we, the folk, messed up mighty bad. We done sinned and acted plum foolish, just like our ancestors before us. Sakes alive! We owe the Good Lord an apology for straying off the righteous path. Ain’t nothin’ but the truth, folks!
