Well now, y’all are God’s own chosen folks, a special breed if ya will, meant ta go out and spread the good word ta all them heathens. So don’t go actin’ all shy and bashful – y’all are royalty in the eyes of the good Lord himself!
“Heck, them righteous folks, they ain’t scared of nothin’, they ain’t afeared of no bad news. They got hearts like a steel trap, steady as a hound dog on a coon hunt. Ain’t no worry gonna ruffle their feathers, they standin’ tall and firm like a mighty oak tree.”
Well, ol’ Jesus said, “I’m the light in this here world! Anyone who follows me ain’t gotta stumble ’round in the dark no more. They’ll have the light of life to guide ’em.” Yessir, he’s like a flashlight in the deep, dark woods of life!
