1. The Good Samaritan – In this story, a man is beaten and robbed on the road. Many people pass by and ignore him, including a priest and a Levite. But a Samaritan stops and shows kindness to the injured man, taking care of him and paying for his lodging until he recovers.
2. The Prodigal Son – In this story, a son asks his father for his inheritance and leaves to squander it all. He becomes destitute and returns home, expecting punishment, but his father welcomes him back with love and mercy. The father throws a party to celebrate the son’s return and forgiveness.
3. Jesus and the Woman Caught in Adultery – In this story, a group of men catch a woman in the act of adultery and bring her to Jesus to be stoned. Jesus shows mercy and understanding to the woman, telling the accusers that whoever is without sin may cast the first stone. One by one, the accusers drop their stones and leave.
4. The Feeding of the 5,000 – In this story, Jesus and his disciples come across a large crowd of people who are hungry. Jesus asks his disciples to find food for the people, but they only come up with five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus shows compassion by miraculously multiplying the food to feed the entire crowd.
