God's Love for Us
John 3:16 — For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
Romans 5:8 — But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
1 John 4:9 — God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.

John 13:34 — So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.

Love as the Greatest Commandment
Matthew 22:37-39 — Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
Romans 13:10 — Love does no wrong to others, so love satisfies the requirements of God’s law.
Love Reflects God's Nature
1 John 4:16 — We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
Ephesians 5:2 — Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.
