Proverbs 3:13 — Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
Proverbs 4:7 — Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Ecclesiastes 7:12 — For wisdom is a defense, and money is a defense: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.
The Source of Wisdom
James 1:5 — If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Proverbs 2:6 — For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

The Practice of Wisdom
Proverbs 1:7 — The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Ecclesiastes 2:26 — To the man that pleaseth him God giveth wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that pleaseth God.

Proverbs 11:2 — When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
