Trusting God for Provision
Philippians 4:19 — But my God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Matthew 6:31-33 — Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Wise Stewardship and Generosity
Proverbs 3:9-10 — Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7 — The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Avoiding Debt and Greed
Romans 13:8 — Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
Hebrews 13:5 — Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Luke 12:15 — And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
Hard Work and Diligence
Proverbs 10:4 — A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.
Colossians 3:23 — Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.
