When the wicked surround us
And the foundations shake
The righteous fear for their lives
And wonder if they’ll make it through the night

But we will rise above the flames
And trust in the Lord’s holy name
For he is righteous and just
And in him we will always trust

The Lord is in his holy temple
And his eyes see all that is done
He tests the righteous and the wicked
And his soul hates the lover of violence
