From the Depths of Despair to Triumph – Psalm 22

From the Depths of Despair to Triumph – Psalm 22

Verse 1:
My God, my God,
Why have You forsaken me?
Why are You so far from saving me,
From the words of my groaning?

Chorus:
But I will trust in You,
My Savior and my King,
From the depths of despair,
To triumph You will bring.

Verse 2:
Yet You are holy,
Enthroned on the praises of Your people,
In You our fathers trusted,
And You delivered them.

Chorus:
But I will trust in You,
My Savior and my King,
From the depths of despair,
To triumph You will bring.

Verse 3:
They mocked and scorned me,
They pierced my hands and feet,
But You, O Lord, do not be far off,
For You have heard my plea.

Chorus:
But I will trust in You,
My Savior and my King,
From the depths of despair,
To triumph You will bring.

Verse 4:
I will declare Your name,
To my brothers and sisters I will sing,
For You have not despised or abhorred,
The affliction of the suffering.

Chorus:
But I will trust in You,
My Savior and my King,
From the depths of despair,
To triumph You will bring.

Verse 5:
All the ends of the earth,
Shall remember and turn to the Lord,
And all the families of the nations,
Shall worship before You.

Chorus:
But I will trust in You,
My Savior and my King,
From the depths of despair,
To triumph You will bring.

Verse 6:
For dominion belongs to the Lord,
And He rules over the nations,
All who sleep in the earth,
Shall bow before Him in adoration.

Chorus:
But I will trust in You,
My Savior and my King,
From the depths of despair,
To triumph You will bring.

Outro:
From the depths of despair,
To triumph You will bring.
