The Battle for Goodness and Light – a Revelation 12 Story

The Battle for Goodness and Light – a Revelation 12 Story

In a small town in the United States, there lived a woman named Rachel. She was a devout Christian who believed in the power of prayer and the goodness of God. One day while she was praying, she felt a strange sensation that she couldn’t quite explain. She felt like there was a battle going on within her, a battle between goodness and darkness.

As she continued to pray, she saw a vision of a great dragon, red as fire, with seven heads and ten horns. The dragon was poised to devour a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars on her head. Rachel knew that this woman represented the Church, and the dragon represented Satan.

She prayed fervently, asking for God’s protection and guidance. As she prayed, she saw another vision of a heavenly army, led by the archangel Michael, fighting against the dragon and his angels. The battle was fierce, but the heavenly army emerged victorious.

Rachel was filled with hope and joy, knowing that God was on her side. She knew that the battle between good and evil was ongoing, but she was comforted by the fact that God’s goodness would always prevail.

As she continued to pray, she was reminded of the verse in Revelation 12:11: "They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." Rachel knew that this verse was a reminder that she too could overcome evil by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ and by sharing her testimony with others.

In the days that followed, Rachel felt a renewed sense of purpose in her life. She was no longer afraid of the darkness, knowing that God’s light would always shine brighter. She shared her testimony with others, encouraging them to put their faith in God and trust in His goodness.

The battle for goodness and light continued, but Rachel knew that she was not alone. She had the power of prayer and the strength of God on her side. She continued to pray for the Church and for all believers, knowing that together they would overcome evil and emerge victorious.

As she looked up at the sun, she saw the light shining brighter than ever before, a reminder that God’s goodness would always overcome the darkness.

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." – Revelation 12:11
