Judges 1: The Sitcom

Welcome to the wacky world of the Israelite judges! Our show follows the daily lives of the judges as they navigate the challenges of leading their tribe.

• Episode 1: “Conquest Confusion” – In the series premiere, the judges must decide how to divide up the land they’ve conquered. But when they can’t agree on who gets what territory, hilarity (and a few battles) ensue.
• Episode 2: “Deborah Does It All” – When Deborah becomes the first female judge, she quickly realizes her male counterparts don’t take her seriously. But when a Canaanite army threatens their tribe, Deborah proves she’s more than capable of leading them to victory.
• Episode 3: “Gideon’s Grant” – Gideon, the reluctant judge, must find a way to defend his people against the Midianites with just 300 men. But when he receives a special grant from God, he realizes he might have more help than he thought.
• Episode 4: “Samson’s Secret” – Samson, the strongest judge, has a secret weakness – beautiful women. When he falls for the wrong woman and is captured by the Philistines, it’s up to his hair (and his strength) to save the day.
• Episode 5: “Jephthah’s Dilemma” – Jephthah, the judge with a tragic past, must make a tough decision – sacrifice his daughter or break his vow to God. Can his fellow judges help him find a way out of this heart-wrenching situation?
• Episode 6: “Silly Sisera” – General Sisera of the Canaanite army seems invincible, until he meets a clever woman named Jael. But when Sisera’s mother comes looking for him, the judges must use their wit and charm to keep the truth hidden.
