Plot:
James, the brother of Jesus, leads a community of Jewish Christians in Jerusalem. However, their peaceful way of life is threatened by King Herod’s persecution of Christians. James and his followers must navigate the troubled times while also dealing with internal conflict and tensions with other Christian groups. As the situation reaches a boiling point, James turns to the Apostle Paul for help in communicating with other Christian communities.
Throughout the film, we see James struggle with his faith and his relationship with his famous brother. Mary, Jesus’ mother, makes appearances as a wise and supportive figure for James. Meanwhile, Herod’s villainous actions and Paul’s intellectual and pragmatic approach add layers of complexity to the story.
